Street Naming Competition

Street Naming Competition

The 32 dwellings will all be served by a new road, which requires naming to form the new postal address for each home and Wycliffe Estates would like to launch a competition for the naming of this development.

This is a fantastic opportunity to provide a name that is relevant to the town and community, which will be appreciated for generations to come. We are keen that the name is created locally and could be inspired by a historical event, its location or someone who has contributed greatly to Lostwithiel and the surrounding area. However, the choice is yours and limited only by your imagination.

The winning entry will not only enjoy seeing the road named but Wycliffe Estates is also offering a charitable donation of £250 to a local voluntary organisation including nurseries and schools of the winner’s choice.

Entries will be judged by a panel made up of members of the Lostwithiel community. Please enter by going to www.wycliffe.com and completing the online form or downloading and attaching it to an email or posting to Wycliffe Estates. Entry forms are also available from Lostwithiel Community Centre; the closing date for entries is Friday 30th March, 2012.

Before entering you may wish to consult Cornwall Council guidelines for street naming, which can be downloaded below.

The competition is now closed, the winner will be announced in due course.
